Marketing Director: Hack the Hill
Canada’s Capital Hackathon!
As the Marketing Director for Hack the Hill, my team took on a rigorous 125-day campaign to promote our hackathon. Our efforts were nothing short of success as we marketed over 50 Instagram posts and reached out to over 300 STEM faculty members, organizations, and clubs from 25 different post-secondary schools in Ontario. Through our targeted outreach and creative marketing strategies, we were able to attract over 1200 registrations for our event, which was well beyond our expectations. What's more, we saw 611 confirmed attendees, making Hack the Hill the largest hackathon in Ottawa. These numbers are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we are proud to have created such a successful event that has helped to foster innovation and creativity in the field of technology.
